From there, you can book a domestic flight to Ilhéus (IOS), which is the closest airport to Itacaré (around 70km north of Ilhéus). IOS receives several daily flights from all major cities in Brazil. The following airlines are currently flying into Ilhéus: Avianca, Azul, Gol, TAM, and Trip.

Travelers can also arrive in Itacaré by land. There is a paved road (BA-001) that directly links Itacaré to Ilhéus following the coastline and to Salvador (via the ferry-boat from Bom Despacho).
